On May 28, 2025, the unveiling ceremony of the joint laboratory co-built by Rizhao Steel Co., Ltd. and Yulan New Material was grandly held at Rizhao Yulan New Material Co., Ltd. This event marks a crucial step for both parties in synergistic innovation across the industrial chain and deep integration of technological research and development, injecting new impetus into the transformation and upgrading of steel-based material R&D - tinplate manufacturing - terminal applications. Leaders and technical experts from Rizhao Steel Co., Ltd. and Yulan New Material gathered at the site to witness this important moment.

　　At 9:00 AM, the event officially kicked off. The leaders and guests attending the ceremony first visited the Yulan New Material exhibition hall and production workshop to gain an in-depth understanding of Yulan's actual situation. Afterward, the unveiling ceremony was held in the large conference room on the first floor of the Yulan office building.

　　The unveiling ceremony was hosted by Xie Hongyin, Vice President of Zhuoli Group, with a compact and solemn agenda. At the beginning of the event, Jing Feng, Chairman of Zhuoli Group, reviewed the history of cooperation between the two parties in his speech: "Since the start of cooperation in 2023, the signing of a strategic agreement in 2024, and the establishment of the laboratory today, we have used technology as a bond and trust as a cornerstone to achieve a leap from 'business partners' to 'strategic allies.'" Facing intensified global industrial chain competition, only by breaking down upstream and downstream barriers and building an "R&D community" can we achieve a breakthrough of "1+1 > 2." "The joint laboratory will focus on three major directions: substrate material research and development, full-process quality control, and green low-carbon technology, to build an 'engine' for synergistic innovation across the industrial chain."

　　Li Hongcui, Executive Vice President of the Steel Research Institute and Deputy Director of the Manufacturing Management Department of Rizhao Steel Co., Ltd., provided a detailed introduction to the laboratory's cooperation and future plans, including substrate material optimization, construction of a full-process quality data chain, and development of low-carbon products.

　　Under the joint witness of all attending guests, the first climax of the ceremony arrived – the signing ceremony. Li Hongcui, representative of Rizhao Steel Co., Ltd. and Executive Vice President of the Steel Research Institute, and Han Gang, representative of Yulan New Material and Director of the Technology and Quality Department, solemnly stepped onto the signing table and jointly signed the "Shandong Steel-Yulan Joint Laboratory Cooperation Agreement."
