Project Advantages:
First, the equipment is state-of-the-art. The project is designed in accordance with the “dark factory” concept, fully realizing the intelligent and digital transformation of traditional industries; the equipment is large-scale, continuous, highly automated, information-enabled, and intelligent. It is supported by a suite of smart systems, including unmanned overhead cranes, industrial robots, automated laboratories, and automated three-dimensional warehouses.
Second, the technology is highly advanced. The company currently holds five national invention patents and more than 30 utility model patents. Its production lines are designed to meet the most advanced international standards, capable of achieving an ultra-thin rolling thickness of 0.08 mm. It also boasts the world’s first independently developed six-stand acid pickling–rolling tandem mill, along with continuous annealing lines, two-stand skin-pass mills, and coating lines that incorporate the latest industry technologies, thereby enabling precise control over product flatness, thickness tolerances, yield rates, and coating quality.
Third, digital empowerment is fully realized. Interconnection and interoperability have been achieved across the primary, secondary, and tertiary information chains, enabling big-data analytics at both the raw-materials and product ends. This provides robust support for product upgrades and iterations, process innovation, and quality-design improvements, thereby facilitating high-quality, long-term, end-to-end digital management of products.
Fourth, the city enjoys distinct advantages in both its soft and hard infrastructure. As the core area for the transformation of Shandong Province’s steel industry, Rizhao boasts a strong steel industry cluster, advantageous access to coastal ports for maritime shipping, superior road and rail transportation networks, and the strategic benefit of proximity to end-user markets.
