The First Anniversary Celebration of Commencement of Production Concludes Successfully

On September 11–12, 2025, the inaugural (2025) Yulan New Materials “Innovating the Future with Intelligence” Strategic Customer Summit and First Anniversary Celebration of Production Commencement were grandly held in Lanshan District, Rizhao City. More than 70 strategic customer representatives and partners from home and abroad—totaling approximately 150 attendees—came together to share insights and engage in discussions, jointly charting a blueprint for future development and ushering in a new chapter of win-win cooperation. Wang Xinsheng, Deputy Secretary of the Rizhao Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Rizhao; Liu Xianglong, Vice Mayor of Rizhao; Shen Jie, Secretary of the Lanshan District Party Committee; and Zheng Duxuan, Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Lanshan District Government, Deputy Secretary of the Development Zone, and Chairman of the Economic Development Group, graced the event with their presence.

This event is themed “Building Trust, Forging Brilliance—Partnering for a Brighter Future,” and aims to leverage the milestone of the plant’s first anniversary since commissioning to invite leaders at all levels, as well as representatives from our broad base of customers and partners, who have consistently shown concern for and supported the development of Yulan New Materials. Together, we will commemorate Yulan’s journey of growth, deepen mutual understanding, strengthen our collaborative relationships, and listen to your valuable insights and recommendations. At the same time, we will bring together industry expertise to jointly explore breakthrough strategies for the sustainable development of our sector.

 

On the afternoon of the 11th, attendees visited the Yulan New Materials plant in staggered groups and posed for group photos. The “garden-style smart factory,” where Yulan’s intelligent production lines are seamlessly integrated with lush greenery, left a profound impression on the guests. While providing a vivid and tangible demonstration of Yulan’s advanced equipment and other core strengths, it also conveyed the company’s commitment to and responsibility for pursuing green development.

Toasting with heartfelt camaraderie and celebrating friendships, we welcomed guests from all corners of the globe with song and dance. At the welcome banquet on the evening of the 11th, the Chairman extended a warm welcome and sincere gratitude to the leaders and distinguished guests in attendance. He reflected on the wonderful serendipitous connection between Yulan New Materials and Rizhao Lanshan, and reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to working hand-in-hand with our valued customers to achieve win-win cooperation and boldly advance toward a new vision for the tinplate industry.

On the morning of the 12th, Yulan New Materials’ inaugural Strategic Customer Summit was officially held, chaired by Xie Hongyin, the company’s Deputy General Manager.

General Manager Jing Yuqiang delivered a speech on behalf of the company. He provided a brief overview of Yulan’s development trajectory, with particular emphasis on the key achievements attained on the occasion of the company’s first anniversary since commencing production—a significant milestone in its history. In outlining Yulan’s vision for the future, he underscored the company’s commitment to “empowering traditional manufacturing through AI” and expressed Yulan’s aspiration to “work hand in hand” with its broad base of customers to continue writing its success story.

Subsequently, the guests who took to the stage to deliver remarks, share insights, or present keynote speeches all extended their congratulations to Yulan New Materials and expressed optimistic prospects for a future of win-win cooperation between the two parties.

Sun Zhen, a member of the Party Committee, director, and deputy general manager of Shandong Iron & Steel Group Rizhao Co., Ltd., reviewed his 12-year journey of getting to know and working closely with the Group, with particular emphasis on the substantial achievements attained since 2024 through collaboration on a new platform. In the face of new opportunities and challenges, Mr. Sun pledged that Baosteel Co., Ltd. and Shandong Iron & Steel will continue to serve as Yulan’s most resilient and reliable “supply-chain stronghold,” steadfastly deepen strategic synergy, and jointly set a new benchmark for upstream–downstream industrial cooperation.

Fang Dongsheng, General Manager of the Supply Chain Management Department at Hangzhou Huarui New Holdings Co., Ltd. of Aorijin Group, shared his three visits to Yulan, describing his evolving impressions—from the “stunning” first encounter to the joy of witnessing Yulan’s sustained growth. He summarized the outcomes of the collaboration between the two parties and expressed strong confidence in their future partnership.

Su Dacheng, Chairman of Hualian Group, highly commended Yulan’s achievements in development. He believes that Yulan’s high-quality growth “has spearheaded industry transformation and, moreover, has instilled unwavering confidence and strength in upstream and downstream supply-chain partners as well as all stakeholders.”

Ernesto, CEO of Bemasa Caps, shared the company’s experience working with Yulan as a representative of international clients. He attributed the strong and enduring partnership between the two firms to Yulan’s unwavering reliability, superior technical expertise, and shared values of integrity and customer-centric care.

Subsequently, a series of engaging keynote presentations and interactive interviews were seamlessly interwoven, creating a tightly packed and content-rich day-long summit that offered attendees a comprehensive feast of insights into Yulan’s best practices, an in-depth analysis of industry development trends, and cutting-edge research on AI-driven transformation in manufacturing.

The summit also featured a special ceremony for the signing of the Yulan–Huawei cooperation agreement, marking Yulan’s partnership with Huawei to co-build a new industrial ecosystem and positioning Yulan as the first company in the industry to achieve large-scale deployment of unmanned operations, intelligent manufacturing, and AI systems. In his remarks, Shi Mao, President of Huawei’s Iron & Nonferrous Metals Business Unit, emphasized that the collaboration between Yulan and Huawei is “underpinned by a high degree of strategic alignment and strong complementary needs.” He further stated that this signing not only represents “a significant milestone in our collaborative journey” but also embodies “a strategic decision by both parties to look toward the future, jointly seize the opportunities of the digital era, and address the challenges of our time.”

Subsequently, Shi Mao, President of [Company Name], and Li Yanfeng, Deputy Director of the Government and Enterprise Division of Huawei’s Shandong Representative Office, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies, alongside Wang Dawei, Chairman and Deputy General Manager of Yulan New Materials.

The inaugural “Yulan New Materials: Smart Innovation for the Future—Strategic Customer Summit and First Anniversary Celebration” was successfully held, showcasing Yulan New Materials’ achievements over its first year of operation and strengthening strategic trust and collaborative ties with customers worldwide. Today’s gathering is more than just an exchange of experience and a collision of ideas—it is also a powerful step forward in building the foundation for win-win cooperation tomorrow. Looking ahead, Yulan New Materials will continue to work hand in hand with global partners to write a new chapter in the tinplate industry.
